Derek practices in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Traffic Matters.

He is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Derek graduated from Baker High School, Syracuse University and Syracuse University College of Law.  While at Syracuse University College of Law, Derek served as president of the Federalist Society and was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Derek worked for ten years as an assisted living administrator and as a member of the Van Buren Town Board, which evolved his interests in law.  In 2016, Derek was sworn in for this third term representing the towns of Camillus, Elbridge and Van Buren as an Onondaga County Legislator.

Derek is a lifelong resident of Baldwinsville.
